Join Associated Bank as a Portfolio Manager supporting Commercial Real Estate clients through credit analysis, portfolio management, and relationship support. You’ll play a key role in evaluating loan opportunities, managing risk, and contributing to client growth. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate or credit analysis
  • 4+ years managing or analyzing complex credit transactions

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years in sales or business development
  • 1+ year of formal credit training
  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Analyze borrower financials, property performance, and market data to evaluate new and existing loan opportunities
  • Manage portfolio risk by monitoring loan performance and ensuring accurate, timely risk ratings
  • Partner with Relationship Managers to support client relationships and deliver responsive service
  • Prepare clear, comprehensive credit presentations and approval materials
  • Ensure compliance with lending policies, regulatory guidelines, and internal procedures
  • Monitor repayment activity, covenant compliance, and overall financial condition of borrowers
  • Support due diligence and underwriting for new client opportunities and transactions
  • Contribute to special projects and mentor junior team members as needed
