Sabel Systems is seeking a highly motivated Portfolio Manager / Scrum Master to support Agile product delivery and portfolio alignment within Sabel Digital Labs (SDL)—Sabel’s digital innovation and product development organization. This hybrid role combines Scrum Master responsibilities with product‑level portfolio coordination. You will facilitate Agile ceremonies, maintain roadmap and backlog alignment, support PI Planning, and ensure dependencies across SDL product teams are identified and managed. You must be comfortable working across multiple product development teams and business units, supporting both the operational rhythm and strategic alignment required for SDL to deliver value. Additional training on Sabel’s Atlassian standards and processes will be available. Travel of up to 10% may be required for internal or customer product demonstrations. You will report to the Manager of Platform Products and Operations and collaborate across SDL product development teams as well as with partners in Sabel’s business units. In this role, you will help drive iterative, value‑focused delivery by ensuring alignment, communication, and execution across SDL’s broader product ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure portfolio visibility across SDL product teams, including roadmaps, risks, dependencies, and cross‑team deliverables.
  • Partner with Product Owners to refine Acceptance Criteria, Definition of Done, and Sprint/PI Objectives.
  • Support PI Planning activities and learn to co‑facilitate enterprise‑level coordination efforts.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand‑Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives).
  • Facilitate Scrum of Scrums to address cross‑team impediments and alignment issues.
  • Promote an Agile mindset, continuous improvement, and strong team health across SDL.
  • Facilitate workshops, backlog refinement sessions, planning conversations, and value‑stream alignment discussions.
  • Create or assist in producing presentations, templates, how‑to guides, and Agile documentation.
  • Conduct remote or occasional in‑person product demonstrations.
  • Communicate professionally via MS Teams, chat, and email to gather requirements, clarify concerns, and share updates.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, including follow‑up sessions and cross‑team discussions.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and engagement in daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, and other SDL ceremonies.
  • Manage your individual work tasks and documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
