About The Position
The Portfolio Manager Analyst supports the CSG Credit Products team with ongoing portfolio management and underwriting activities. This entry-level developmental role builds skills in credit and market analysis, including cash flow analysis and modeling, capitalization, industry research, credit policy, and legal documentation. The analyst evaluates and summarizes the creditworthiness of clients and prospects, generally supporting the Credit Products Portfolio Management team and collaborating with internal partners such as Relationship Management, Credit Administration, and Capital Markets. The role is intended for colleagues pursuing a career in Portfolio Management and may also provide a path to Relationship Management, Credit, Capital Markets, or other Commercial roles within the Bank.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in an underwriting or commercial banking environment.

- High level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze financial and business information to determine creditworthiness for loan and credit products.
- Complete financial spreads, risk ratings, performance tearsheets, compliance testing, and other portfolio monitoring and maintenance activities.
- Underwrite complex commercial loans in accordance with Huntington credit policies, including financial statement and collateral analysis, financial modeling, industry and business risk evaluation, and management assessment.
- Conduct industry and market research using available resources, distilling key themes and conclusions into concise summaries for presentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
