About The Position

Serve as a portfolio lead for a Department of War (DoW) customer, managing assigned projects day to day throughout their full lifecycle. Analyze existing policies and processes to identify organizational improvements that streamline the client’s portfolio. Support U.S. defense priorities by keeping projects on a productive path through careful analysis and effective communication, helping the client achieve objectives while meeting quality standards. The position is located in Alexandria, Virginia.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working for the DoD, Joint Staff, or a Service-level staff office and developing executive-level briefings and deliverables.
• Experience developing written products, information papers, briefings, and presentations.
• Experience drafting talking points and summaries for senior leaders.
• Experience evaluating and overseeing project execution of near-term, mid-term, and long-term assignments.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with acquisition.
• Experience working with international partners in a defense context.
• Experience drafting and revising congressional reports and inquiries.
• Experience with foreign military sales or conducting international business.
• Completion of formal acquisition training.
