Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
10+ years of related experience.
Foundational understanding of Agile Development processes and ceremonies.
Deep understanding of AWS services and application architectures using these services.
A solid understanding of how to optimize AWS services to reduce cloud computing costs.
Solid understanding of the customer’s A&A processes.
The ability to incorporate customer mandated technical directives into existing systems.
Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Leading a technical evaluation of software development projects that include reviewing requirements to ensure system compatibility for optimal system performance.
Collaborating with business users to triage requirements and perform current state system analysis.
Completing written functional and technical specifications of modern and legacy systems.
Providing weekly status reports regarding security assessment status, and software release and integration initiatives.
Establishing integrated project team structure and assignments.
Leading, directing and managing enterprise IT system development/engineering efforts.
Working with developers, systems engineers and security engineers in an Agile Development environment to deliver business features, technical enhancements and artifacts to support security compliance.
Developing the technical documentation needed to support security compliance.
Responding to customer assigned tasks and produce responses within customer mandated deadlines.
Addressing ad-hoc taskings quickly demonstrating a depth of understanding of the business processes and technical architecture of applications within their portfolio.
Staying current with emerging technologies to determine impact on application/system integration and execution.
Drafting project briefings, conceptual whitepapers, program planning, and other foundation documents examining any applicable technologies.
Overseeing/providing guidance to peer and subordinate staff and developing strategic plans for current and future activities.
Managing a team of approximately 15-20 employees.
Guiding systems through the customer’s A&A processes.
Incorporating customer mandated technical directives into existing systems.
Ensuring business and technical requirements are integrated into product backlogs.
Being the POC for portfolio related issues, both technical and non-technical.
Researching emerging technologies to determine impact on application/system integration and execution.
