The Portfolio Banker partners with Relationship Managers and the Regional Relationship Manager to evaluate the financial condition and credit needs of prospective and existing Commercial Real Estate (CRE) borrowers. This role is responsible for analyzing CRE financial statements, credit information, and supporting due diligence to assess the risk and return of financing opportunities. The position requires experience in investor real estate underwriting and asset management, including preparation of credit memoranda and annual loan reviews. The Portfolio Banker supports the underwriting and structuring of complex loan products—such as bridge and construction loans—through analysis of rent rolls, borrower and property financials, cash flows, and valuations. This role collaborates closely with clients, Relationship Managers, Credit Administration, and senior leadership to support credit approval and risk decisions. Post-closing responsibilities include monitoring financial reporting, covenant compliance, loan performance, and relevant market and property trends. The Portfolio Banker typically serves as a secondary point of contact for assigned relationships and is expected to deliver a high level of service to support strong client relationships.
