As a Portfolio Analytics and Strategy Specialist Senior within PNC's Data, Model & Analytics Marketing & Customer Analytics organization supporting Cards & Lending Campaign Delivery and Analytics Center of Excellence, you will be based in Tysons Corner, VA, Pittsburgh, PA or Wilmington, DE. Role Overview: We are seeking a senior specialist to optimize PNC campaign delivery process and identify profitable account growth opportunities through process/data analytics across all Retail Lending products (Consumer Card, Business Card, Unsecured Installment Loans, HELOC, and Mortgage). This senior specialist will work closely with 7 other team members within Cards & Lending Campaign Delivery and Analytics team, and partner with other PNC teams (Marketing, Credit Policy, Risk, Product and Data Science) and vendors to achieve the goals.

Requirements

  • Approximately 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing analytics and campaign delivery, including Retail Lending products (Credit Cards, UIL, HELOC and Mortgage)
  • Actual work experience on Bureau PDB (Prospect Database) and Custom Attributes, including audit/approval of Burean data process criteria and waterfalls.
  • Actual work experience on Retail Lending products cross-sell in customer interaction channels (Branch, Care Center, and Digital)
  • Actual work experience on executing audience selection criteria for prescreen and non‑prescreen acquisition campaigns, including proactive prescreen and reactive prescreen processes.
  • Actual work experience on generating, auditing, and approving the campaign files.
  • Actual work experience on campaign execution platforms such as Experian Ascend Marketing, Ascent Ops, and Sandbox.
  • Actual work experience on analysis tools such as Tableau, ACZ, Hadoop, and Python.
  • Excellent communication and results orientation, with a strong sense of accountability and urgency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize Fall Back ITA cross sell strategies for Consumer Cards and UIL within the CIM platform
  • Oversee campaign execution, audit selection criteria, and ensure high quality delivery across channels
  • Drive continuous improvement of campaign processes, data flows, and execution platforms
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to optimize data and execution workflows
  • Support profitable growth through market analysis and identification of growth opportunities
  • Lead campaign performance reporting across channels, products, and campaign types
  • Lead process enhancement initiatives and coach junior team members
  • Provides financial and regulatory reporting and analyses to maintain adequate controls over the financial and regulatory reporting processes.
  • Responsible for running complex business performance, risk and operational analytics.
  • May include the development of analytical methods/models to assess market, credit and/or operational risk of new and existing financial products.
  • Leverages business / product expertise to rigorously analyze large datasets, improve risk adjusted returns, deliver profitable growth, and communicate conclusions.
  • Synthesizes analytical results and develops, recommends, and implements business strategies that improve lending decisions, assist in managing risk, increase revenues, reduce exposure to losses, meet business goals, and improve performance.
  • Establishes baselines for strategies and tracks actual performance to expectations.
  • Applies predictive models, third party data, and other tools to develop and execute appropriate segmentation and targeting for acquisition and portfolio strategies to provide insight into portfolio risk.
  • Manages engagements with internal and external information suppliers ensuring solution is fit for purpose while maintaining appropriate governance and oversight.
  • Understands and communicates regulatory and financial accounting impacts on the balance sheet to regulators and PNC control functions as appropriate.
  • Interacts with regulators, internal audit, and management concerning credit portfolio analyses and credit risk appetite.
  • Works with business, credit, data, and model development partners to design, develop, and monitor test designs and analytical reporting to track and enhance strategies.
  • Designs / enhances standard reporting suites for regular product / portfolio reviews.
  • Collaborates with the line of business, Finance, and Risk partners to assess and establish credit risk appetite and to understand its implications, as well as to establish policies and procedures governing the identification, monitoring, and management of risk appetite.
