About The Position

DeCicco & Sons is seeking a Porter to ensure the store is kept neat, clean, free of clutter, and safe for customers and employees. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards on the sales floor and throughout the store, adhering to all food safety standards, and providing customers with the highest quality service. The company is looking for individuals who are passionate about food, enjoy working with friendly people, and take pride in their work.

Requirements

• Ability to work on a team
• Great work ethic
• Must be able to work in a cold/hot environment with exposure to outdoor elements at times
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working on feet for entire shift
• Bending
• Stooping

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor and the store in general.
• Maintain sanitation standards on the store floor.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards in each area of the department.
• Ensure the store is safe for customers and employees.
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management.
