About The Position

The Porter position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the casino and spa areas, including trash removal, floor care, restroom sanitation, and exterior upkeep. This role requires regular attendance, adherence to safety procedures, and positive guest interaction. The position involves physical exertion and the operation of various cleaning equipment.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience performing positively and achieving objective-based results.
Demonstrated experience in problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.

Nice To Haves

Experience in janitorial or housekeeping duties, specifically in a Spa setting.
Knowledge and experience with floor care machines, such as buffers and extractors.

Responsibilities

Removes all trash on a continuous basis through the casino and spa, including floors between slot machines and trash receptacles.
Operates and maintains various cleaning equipment, and provides employees with cleaning equipment and premixed chemicals.
Cleans and maintains the outside appearance of the casinos, including snow and ice removal.
Monitors all parking lots for trash removal, sweeping cigarette trash, and emptying outdoor smoking receptacles.
Vacuums, sweeps, and mops floors within the Casino and Spa.
Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains guest and employee restrooms, ensuring they are stocked.
Cleans and sanitizes Spa treatment rooms, relaxation areas, locker rooms, lobby, wet rooms, pool deck, fitness center, and yoga room.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety procedures and the use of safety equipment.
Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement.
Maintains positive public relations with guests and employees, enhancing safety and providing information.
