We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Porter to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment that supports our employees, customers, and operations. The Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and general upkeep of production, warehouse, and common areas. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming workplace by supporting daily facility needs and assisting with basic operational tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. to be considered for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous janitorial, porter, or facilities support experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with basic cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Forklift experience (if applicable and trained)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of production floors, warehouses, restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove debris to ensure safe walking and working surfaces
  • Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
  • Stock supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials
  • Assist with basic material movement, staging, or cleanup as directed
  • Support minor facility needs such as setting up work areas, moving furniture, or preparing spaces for meetings or projects
  • Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or supply shortages
  • Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operations
