About The Position

MDI Management is looking for a full-time Porter to join our team. This is a 40-hour per week position, Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM. You will focus on maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and general upkeep of multi-family properties, ensuring a welcoming and well-kept environment for residents and guests.

Requirements

Prior experience in property maintenance, landscaping, or custodial work preferred
Reliable transportation and clean driving record
Strong work ethic and ability to complete tasks efficiently
Good communication and teamwork skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Follow all company, local, state, and federal safety rules
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Be aware of hazards including chemicals (pool maintenance), pressure washers, sharp tools, uneven surfaces, insects, and debris
Frequent walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and stretching
Occasional climbing of ladders or elevated surfaces
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Work outdoors in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

Perform daily walking inspections and clean the property grounds, removing litter, debris, and pet waste
Maintain pools, exterior lighting, and golf carts, performing preventative upkeep as scheduled
Assist with unit turns, property maintenance projects, landscaping, and minor repairs
Operate power washers and other equipment to clean buildings, patios, and parking areas
Maintain shops, garages, and storage areas in an organized and safe condition
Report or correct safety hazards promptly
