About The Position
The Porter position involves general maintenance and custodial duties to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The position is full-time, non-exempt, and unionized, with a set schedule and competitive compensation and benefits package.
Requirements
- Driver’s License Class D, or higher.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Must pass the background check and other pre-employment requirements.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, common areas, and high-traffic areas.
- Empty trash and recycling bins.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Perform light maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and replacing air filters.
