About The Position
The Porter position is responsible for performing apartment turnover cleaning, including kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, cabinets, counters and fixtures, ensuring apartments are move-in ready. This role also involves cleaning and maintaining common areas such as hallways, lobbies, stairwells, elevators, fitness centers, and community rooms. The Porter will pick up trash and debris throughout the property grounds, sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust common areas as needed. Additionally, the role supports maintaining the curb appeal and a clean, professional appearance of the community, and assists the maintenance team with basic tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
