About The Position
Located on the original Hudson’s site, Pine Hall pays homage to Detroit’s past—and the storied Pine Room—through vintage keepsakes and ice-cold cocktails featuring Michigan spirits. As the first Detroit outpost of Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, founded in New York City in 1985, Pine Hall brings four decades of hospitality to the city, drawing on the spirit of beloved restaurants like Gramercy Tavern and Shake Shack. We're proud to serve up classic cocktails made with spirits from close to home, cold beer, and tavern fare that feels familiar, but perhaps a bit better than you remembered.
Requirements
- Experience in a kitchen support position within a similar environment
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work evening shifts
- English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Consistently support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality
- Display cooperation, sense of urgency, house pride, and an unwavering care for our guests and food safety through high integrity performance of ware washing and facility maintenance duties
- Work with the kitchen team to keep all cookware and storage containers in good shape and returned to storage areas properly
- Learn and retain standard operating procedures for all sanitation duties while consistently following a timeline and cleaning project schedule
- Partner with kitchen team to promote teamwork and efficient excellence in station turnover and end of shift breakdown
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed and other duties as assigned to support team objectives and operational success
