About The Position

As a Service Porter at Pedersen Toyota, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our service department. Your responsibilities will include moving vehicles as they progress through the repair process, performing light facility cleaning and maintenance, assisting service department personnel with vehicle processing and delivery, and supporting other shop operations as needed. We offer both full-time and part-time shifts to accommodate various schedules.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work effectively with mentors, managers, and team members.
• Strong attendance and dependability.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn new skills.
• Positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepares vehicles by tagging them, installing protective seat covers and floor mats.
• Transports vehicles to designated parking areas to await service.
• Delivers completed vehicles to customers.
• Provides shuttle service as needed.
• Maintains a safe, neat, and clean service area.
• Informs the Service Manager of cleaning supply needs.
• Checks the service parking lot at the end of the day to ensure all vehicles are locked and keys are placed on the appropriate keyboard.
• Performs other duties as directed by management for the proper function of the Service Department.
• Ensures the employee is well-groomed, clean, and ready to work at the assigned time.
