About The Position

The Porter is responsible for cleaning, moving, and maintaining vehicles, and assisting the Sales and Service Departments. This role contributes to customer satisfaction by providing prompt, efficient, and quality service, ensuring vehicles are cleaned and detailed before delivery to the customer, and anticipating customer needs. The Porter interacts successfully with multiple dealership departments, follows instructions, and maintains a positive, approachable attitude. They must maintain composure and high performance levels under pressure, adapting to changes in work priorities and handling multiple tasks and time deadlines. The Porter also focuses attention on priority work, manages stock of cleaning materials, identifies opportunities for process improvement, and performs other duties as assigned. Additionally, they observe health and safety procedures, use basic math skills, complete forms accurately, and have an overall understanding of dealership business objectives, attending training courses as required.
