About The Position

Weinstein Properties is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Porter to join their team. Porters are essential members responsible for keeping communities clean, beautiful, and welcoming. The company emphasizes investing in people and training talent from the ground up, with opportunities for growth into maintenance technician or other roles for those with a great attitude and willingness to learn. This is a physically demanding role that involves working outdoors year-round in various weather conditions and requires the ability to perform all physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.

Noticing issues proactively and maintaining a clean, well-kept appearance of the community
Keeps busy, completes tasks thoroughly, and doesn’t shy away from dirty or repetitive jobs
Communicates and collaborates well with maintenance and leasing teams
Helps out when needed without hesitation
Takes pride in maintaining the property and contributes to community appearance
Willing to take on various responsibilities
Open to learning new skills
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Frequently lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds or more
Using hand tools and operating equipment (including backpack blowers, power washers)
Operating golf carts/trailers
Frequently bending and stooping for planting, weeding and maintenance of outdoor spaces
Working in conditions with loud noise levels at times
Working outdoors year-round in potentially inclement weather conditions (i.e. heat, cold, rain, humidity)
Ability to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
