About The Position
This role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing various areas of the venue, including restrooms, dining areas, and kitchen spaces. The Porter will also be responsible for emptying trash receptacles and ensuring proper disposal of waste. Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, along with performing routine maintenance tasks, are key duties. The position involves assisting in maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and notifying when reordering is necessary. Additionally, the Porter will report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel and support the team in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests. Adherence to health and safety guidelines and regulations is mandatory.
Requirements
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks with attention to detail and efficiency.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform cleaning duties.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations is a plus.
