About The Position

The Porter provides routine cleaning and custodial care of the property’s exterior and helps maintain clean, hygienic premises and facilities. The role includes daily cleaning and inspection of common areas, grounds, and building entrances; responding to urgent cleaning and property needs; and supporting property upkeep. The posting offers a $2,500 signing bonus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and inspect the property daily, including floors, carpets, vents, restrooms, common areas, entrances, lobbies, grounds, and exterior areas.
• Pick up trash and keep areas clean, clear, and free of clutter.
• Walk the property daily to inspect cleanliness and safety and help maintain curb appeal.
• Report conditions that prevent cleaning or require additional attention, and notify a supervisor of problems or difficulties performing duties.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Perform assigned cleaning tasks, including carpet cleaning, stripping, waxing, and buffing.
• Assist with moving supplies and equipment as needed.
• Monitor supply inventory and notify management when replenishment is needed.
• Remove snow and ice and apply salt or ice melt to entrances, sidewalks, walkways, and other exterior areas when necessary based on property location.
• Place safety signage for wet floors, wet paint, and other potential hazards.
• Respond promptly to spills, cleaning emergencies, snow or ice conditions, and other urgent property needs.
• Perform other duties as required.
