About The Position
Pritchard Companies is seeking a dependable and motivated Commercial Porter to support our Commercial Operations team. This role plays an important part in keeping vehicles, equipment, and facilities organized, customer-ready, and operating efficiently. If you enjoy working around vehicles, staying active, and being part of a team, we'd love to hear from you.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to safely operate vehicles and equipment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Previous porter, transportation, fleet, warehouse, or automotive experience
- Experience operating trailers, commercial vehicles, or equipment
- Chauffeur's license or CDL
Responsibilities
- Move and stage commercial vehicles, fleet units, trailers, and equipment safely throughout the facility
- Prepare vehicles and equipment for customer delivery, transfer, or service
- Perform basic vehicle readiness inspections and identify potential issues
- Coordinate vehicle movement between departments and locations
- Maintain organized lots, yards, and storage areas
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles, equipment, and supplies
- Support sales, service, transportation, and operations teams with daily activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
