About The Position
Supports the Neighborhood Support team’s outreach efforts by moving boxes of inventory, including food, clothing, and other community-distributed supplies, and assists with stocking inventory in the Compassion Market and Compassion Space. The rate of pay for this role ranges from $22.00 - $25.00 hourly.

- Ability to accept direction and understand instructions, seeking clarification when needed

- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Requires good communication skills
- Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position including bending, squatting, stretching, and lifting 25 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be available as required some nights, weekends and religious holidays.

Responsibilities
- Move boxes of inventory from storage locations to distribution space on the lower level of Trinity Commons.
- Maintain and restock inventory in the Compassion Market and Compassion Space.
- Maintain a clean and organized space, including but not limited to, breaking down boxes.
- Prepack bags for program distribution, including but not limited to, groceries, clothing, and toiletries.
- Support with coffee and breakfast set-up/breakdown during market distribution.
- Support with meal prep and distribution, as needed, including but not limited to, coffee and lemonade service.
- Replenish distribution stock during market hours.
- Support with inventory order list for the Compassion Space, as needed.
- Report any safety issues and communicate concerns promptly to your supervisor.
- Adhere to confidentiality rules and all other Trinity Church NYC policies, procedures, and rules.
- Perform all duties in a manner that promote Trinity’s mission and core values.
- Assume other related responsibilities and special projects as required.
