This role is ideal for someone interested in beginning a career in maintenance and facilities work, with opportunities to learn and develop hands-on skills through on-the-job training.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Dependable and punctual

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, restrooms, and exterior spaces across multiple office buildings
Empty trash and recycling receptacles and ensure proper disposal
Perform basic groundskeeping duties such as sweeping, picking up debris, and light landscaping
Handle light maintenance tasks, including changing lightbulbs and unclogging toilets
Respond to routine maintenance requests in a timely manner
Assist with general upkeep and organization of maintenance supplies and equipment
Report any safety hazards or repair needs to management
Perform other duties as assigned
