About The Position
As a Porter, you play a critical role in keeping our dealership running smoothly. You’ll ensure vehicles are organized, presentable, and ready for customers, while supporting the sales and service teams behind the scenes. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being outdoors, and values teamwork.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and team oriented attitude
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the day
- Passing a background check, motor vehicle record review, social security verification, and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Previous dealership or automotive experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Maintain organization and flow of vehicles on the sales lot or service departments
- Park, move, and stage vehicles for display, test drives, and deliveries
- Assist with vehicle check-in, tagging, and inventory organization
- Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and customer ready
- Support sales and service teams with vehicle movement and logistics
- Monitor lot appearance and report safety or maintenance concerns
- Assist with snow removal, lot cleanliness, and seasonal needs
- Follow all safety guidelines and dealership procedures
