About The Position

Come join us at Kahl Home! We are a Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm since 1955. Our state-of-the-art services, amenities, and excellent staff make Kahl Home a premier nursing facility in the Quad Cities. We are seeking to hire a Porter - Environmental Services.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and able to handle stress.
• Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.

Nice To Haves

• Cleaning Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean office equipment, social areas and common areas.
• Empty trash, dusts, vacuums all common areas.
• Clean all bathrooms; replace paper products; clean and polishes all furniture and fixtures, window ledges.
• Mop, bufs and extract all floors.
• Assist with cleaning of resident’s rooms related to move out/move in schedules.
