About The Position

The Porter position will greet incoming service customers, direct the flow of incoming traffic into the service driveway, record the necessary incoming vehicle information, direct the customers to the service advisor area, and relocate vehicles as necessary before and after the vehicles are serviced. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Excellent time management skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
No prior experience or training required.
Valid Driver’s License.
Driving record must meet criteria set by the group and liability insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

Greeting incoming service customers.
Driving customer vehicles from the drop off driveway into the service area process line.
Makes key tags for incoming service vehicles.
Shuttle customers as needed to/from destinations when customers are unable to wait, and no loaner vehicles are available.
Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the driveway service area.
Performs other related duties consistent with the role and function of the specification as assigned. This does not preclude management from assigning additional, though unrelated, duties.
