About The Position

Green Country Village Senior Living is seeking an experienced EVS Porter Associate to add to their Memory Care Life Enrichment team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility's floors and performing various janitorial duties. The community is located on a 26-acre campus in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, offering an all-inclusive lifestyle and superior hospitality.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in floor care and various floor care machines.
• Housekeeping/Janitorial experience in a hospitality setting.
• Excellent organizational skills, time-management skills, and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Safety focus to ensure safe environment for residents and guests.
• Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, involved instructions.
• Must be able to perform duties under stress when confronted with emergency, critical unusual or dangerous situations or when working speed and sustained attention are critical aspects of this job.
• Able and willing to utilize provided safety equipment and comply with expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care duties including vacuuming of hallways and common areas, mopping of linoleum and vinyl flooring, extracting carpets, and stripping and waxing floors.
• Perform Porter duties including window cleaning, general housekeeping, cleaning equipment, and cleaning and maintaining some exterior areas.
• Comply with safety procedures and wear protective equipment, including gloves and using safety precautions when using chemicals.
• Proper disposal of soiled water/chemicals and safety precautions while using equipment.
• Clearly display wet floor signs as needed.
