About The Position

The Porter position is responsible for completing tasks assigned by the shop manager, arranging products on display shelves, maintaining shop organization, performing housekeeping duties, operating basic hand and power tools, and assisting production workers. This role requires maintaining a clean and safe work environment, monitoring and maintaining cleanliness and organization of serviced areas, keeping track of equipment, ensuring compliance with safety practices, identifying and reporting unsafe equipment, and painting equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Must provide valid driver license
• Must be able to lift over 30 pounds
• Bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and crawl occasionally during visits to field and operational work areas
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all designated times

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety practices
• Identify unsafe equipment and report any issues with shop supervisor
• Paint equipment when old parts have become faded or chipped
