About The Position
We are looking for a highly motivated and engaged Porter to join one of our Bronx properties. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of common areas, vacant apartments, and exterior areas. The position also involves trash collection, snow removal, and minor handy work such as changing light bulbs, replacing blinds, and small paint touch-ups.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year or more of Porter experience (building cleaning experience will be considered)
- Must be available to work weekends, overnights and/or overtime
Responsibilities
- Cleaning common areas and vacant apartments
- Maintaining exterior areas
- Collecting and sorting trash
- Salting and shoveling snow during inclement weather
- Performing minor handy work such as changing light bulbs, replacing blinds, and small paint touch-up jobs
