About The Position

The Porter position at Hendrick Volvo Cars of Charleston is responsible for various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the dealership. Key duties include moving and delivering cars, maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the car lot, running errands, and upholding customer satisfaction standards. Requirements

• GED or High School Diploma
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Must be able to lift up to (50) pounds.
• Work includes frequent movement around the dealership facilities and the outdoor car lot and movement in and out of cars.
• The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
• The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and sit.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Ability to deal with standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Moves cars.

• Runs various errands for the dealership.
• Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
• Participates in required training
• Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
• Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.

• Complies with Company policies and procedures
• Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
