About The Position
Come join us at Lourdes Noreen-McKeen Residence! A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1960. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents. We are looking for a Porter - Perdiem (as needed).
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year experience performing industrial or hotel cleaning or equivalent, preferably in a hospital or nursing home environment.
- Must be able to speak, read, write English.
Responsibilities
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets.
- Strip and refinish floor surfaces.
- Dispose of refuse and trash in accordance with established sanitation procedures.
- Clean floors and stairwells to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping.
- Wash windows.
- Clean air vents.
- Sets up for special events, moving furniture and fixtures.
- Clean wheelchairs.
- Transport linen from all floors to laundry facilities.
- Operate pressure cleaning equipment.
