About The Position

Habitat America, LLC is seeking a Part Time Porter/Tech in Salisbury, Maryland for Village at Mitchell Pond Apartments for approximately 20 hours of work per week. Applicants who are qualified for this position have basic maintenance experience. Experience with appliance repairs, general carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical work, drywall and painting are a plus. It is imperative that the Porter be able to work independently and also as a member of a team. This position is responsible for keeping the building and grounds clean and assisting the Maintenance Technicians when needed. In addition to grounds, the position will assist with technical maintenance tickets, assist with unit turnovers and be part of the after-hours on-call rotation. The Porter directly reports to the Community Manager. Hourly wage is dependent on experience. Requirements

• Basic maintenance experience
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Extensive mobility and excellent physical condition
• Able and willing to work weekends and be part of an on-call rotation
