About The Position
As a Shuttle Driver with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the person that our guests look to when they need safe and reliable transport to and from our shop. You are the person that our guests see every time they make an investment into their vehicle, because of these reasons you play a large role in building relationships with our guests and our community. This is a part-time job working 20-30 hours per week. The role involves helping the team of advisors with shuttle rides, moving cars, helping out guests, state inspections, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven successful customer service experience is preferred; driven to serve others
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with our staff, vendors, and guests
- Valid state driver's license
- Meet required insurance driving record parameters
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment and a team mentality (we work hard but like to have fun doing it)!
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Responsibilities
- Desire to learn automotive repair service terminology and processes
- Providing a safe shuttle service for our valued guests
- Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments, making thank you calls to past guests
- Treating our guests with the utmost respect under all circumstances and with a heart consistent with Christian Brothers
- Keeping a timely shuttle route
- Assists passengers in getting in and out of vehicles
- Assisting the shop with receiving, processing, incoming and outgoing parts and other errands as needed
- Notifies service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance
- Keep the facility clean and organized
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
