About The Position

Highland Midtown Apartments is now hiring a Porter / Make Ready in Little Rock, AR. This role involves preparing vacant apartments for market-ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements, maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the grounds and common areas, and providing outstanding customer service to residents. The goal is to keep the community neat, welcoming, and free of trash and debris.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in maintenance or custodial work is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to occasionally lift 50lbs
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
• Replace hardware, lighting, cleanliness and curb appeal of community grounds.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
• Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service
• Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris
• Pick up trash around buildings, parking areas, and common spaces
• Clean breezeways, stairwells, and other shared areas
• Maintain dumpster and trash areas
• Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
• Help keep the community neat and welcoming for residents
• Replace hardware, lighting
• Follow safety protocols and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
