As a Porter / Lot Attendant at Ford - Tom Wood Ford, Indy, you will play a vital role in maintaining the organization and appearance of our dealership lot. Your efforts will ensure vehicles are parked safely, kept clean, and ready for customer use and sales display. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has an eye for detail, and takes pride in supporting a smooth-running dealership environment.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as required.
- Passing a background check, motor vehicle record review, social security verification, and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain the dealership lot by parking and moving vehicles efficiently and safely.
- Assist in keeping vehicles clean by washing, vacuuming, and detailing when necessary.
- Perform routine inspections of vehicles for damage or maintenance needs and report findings promptly.
- Support the sales team by ensuring vehicles are staged and ready for customer appointments and test drives.
- Maintain a clean and safe lot environment, including picking up debris and ensuring proper signage.
- Coordinate with service and sales departments as needed to facilitate vehicle movement.
