Porter / Linen Runner - Caprock Workforce Community
About The Position
Aramark Nexus is hiring Porters / Linen Runners to support housekeeping operations at the Caprock Workforce Community outside Pampa, TX. This Porter / Linen Runner position is responsible for delivering clean linens, transporting laundry, restocking housekeeping supplies, supporting inventory management, and helping maintain efficient housekeeping operations across the property. This is a unique opportunity to join the opening team at Caprock Workforce Community while receiving free on-site housing and meals. Team members help support a large workforce housing and hospitality operation serving one of the most significant development projects in the Texas Panhandle. Successful candidates may have previous experience as a Porter, Linen Runner, Housekeeping Attendant, Laundry Attendant, Hotel Houseman, Housekeeping Support Associate, Warehouse Associate, Supply Runner, or Hospitality Team Member. Requirements
- Previous housekeeping, porter, warehouse, hospitality, hotel, or inventory experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the property for extended periods
- Must be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed
- This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
- This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE)
Responsibilities
- Deliver clean linens, towels, and supplies throughout the property
- Collect and transport soiled linens to designated laundry areas
- Maintain proper separation of clean and dirty linen at all times
- Restock housekeeping carts and supply areas
- Assist with inventory management and weekly supply counts
- Support housekeeping operations to maintain service standards
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures
- Report damaged equipment, supply shortages, and maintenance concerns
- Maintain clean and organized storage and staging areas
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
