First Realty is seeking a Porter/Janitorial Custodian for a condominium property in Cambridge. We are looking for an individual who can maximize customer satisfaction to ensure that the interior of apartments and exterior of buildings and grounds are maintained safely and cleanly, in accordance with First Realty Management and site standard policies.

Requirements

• Ability to read product instructions and safety materials.
• Ability to fill out and complete work orders accurately.
• Ability to communicate effectively with site staff and customers.
• Ability to operate light machinery and simple hand tools.
• Must have own vehicle to travel between properties.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability and flexibility to work on-call hours every other week.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintains building exterior, interior, & commons areas; sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning windows, washing, waxing, and buffing.
• Maintains the appearance of sites by collecting and discarding trash from common areas and throughout the site on a daily basis.
• Maintains sites to standards by observing and reporting damage for necessary repairs.
• Performs minor repair work, as assigned.
• Aids with snow removal by shoveling, salt/sanding, and operating other appropriate equipment.
• Ensures that buildings are safely secured at the end of the shift.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as needed.
• Works overtime as required for snow removal.
