Requirements

Bilingual in Spanish and English, with proficiency in English
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook for consistent communication and updates
Ability to maintain regular communication with lead maintenance technician and Chief Building Engineer
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Physical capability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects or equipment
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
Understanding of rotating weekend schedule for trash pickup and trash chute clearing
Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a neat and organized work environment

Previous experience in custodial, maintenance, or related roles preferred

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, hallways, and entryways through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
Power wash sidewalks, courtyard areas, and parking lots
Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal following company policies and local regulations
Clean and sanitize public spaces, including restrooms, fitness centers, community rooms, and other amenities
Assist with setup and cleanup for events, meetings, and resident activities
Monitor and report maintenance issues such as leaks, broken fixtures, or damages to appropriate personnel
Keep outdoor areas tidy by picking up litter and maintaining landscaping appearance
Perform minor maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs and fixing small repairs
Assist with package delivery and distribution to residents as needed
Collaborate with the maintenance team to support their efforts
Maintain a positive, helpful attitude when interacting with residents and visitors
Follow safety protocols and properly handle and store cleaning materials
Support the Maintenance Supervisor in building a motivated, skilled, organized, and productive team that represents the company professionally at all times
