About The Position
The Porter Detailer will direct the flow of traffic on our dealership’s parking lots, assist service customers with checking in vehicle and provide general lot supervision throughout the normal course of business.
Requirements
- Able to anticipate and understand customer’s needs and provide viable solutions.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication expertise.
- Strong organizational, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Able to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- A Valid Driver’s License.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- One year of automotive experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manages the flow of traffic for the dealership lots and the general service area.
- Drives customer cars to designated parking spots in our service area lot.
- Performs general clean-up of vehicles after service.
- Delivers vehicles to service area upon customer pick-up.
- Maintains lot order, even in designated customer parking areas.
- Assists with shop clean-up and deliveries when needed.
- Keeps vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed and in accordance with dealership display standard.
- Assist with other general service needs as directed by supervisor and/or Service Management.
