About The Position

With keen attention to detail, the Equipment Technician will conduct the maintenance, cleaning, and preparation of portable toilets and related equipment.

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
• Subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Work independently.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to read, write, and comprehend instructions and information in English.
• Ability to use hand tools, pressure washer, and other equipment.
• Ability to use personal computer and hand-held applications.
• Ability to work flexible shifts/hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, at varying locations.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to multitask in a fast pace and high-volume environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Must present a professional, friendly image and appearance.
• Must have reliable transportation and excellent attendance.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, or the equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, supplies, portable toilets and handwashing stations.
• Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Orders and installs replacement parts for equipment.
• Repairs broken equipment quickly and efficiently.
• Prepares reports documenting work performed.
• Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on equipment.
• Attends training classes as directed by management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
