About The Position

The Portable Restroom Delivery Driver is responsible for the prompt delivery, set up, and retrieval of portable restroom units. The driver will set up units and leave in a working, clean and equipped manner. Excellent customer service will be provided and will maintain excellent working relationships with all customers and supervisors. The driver will also be trained to service toilets with a service truck for times when there is a need.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid driver’s license
  • Have an insurable driving record: have a minimum of three (3) years of driving experience with no major moving violations (reckless driving, DUI, etc.), no other moving violations within the past 12 months, and no more than two (2) in the past three (3) years.
  • Ability to read and comprehend GPS systems and Google maps.
  • Ability to use a smartphone.
  • Able to pass a background check for access to secured sites.

Responsibilities

  • In our busy season (April through October) route drivers are required to work overtime as necessary to complete routes on designated days.
  • Service portable toilets on assigned routes. All service must be done in accordance with company and P.S.A.I. certification standards.
  • Discuss any questions or problems on routes with supervisor or dispatcher on a daily basis.
  • All routes will be done on the designated day and in the order assigned. Any changes must be discussed with the supervisor before hand.
  • Route drivers must be quality and customer service oriented.
  • Route drivers must have a cell phone to communicate problems on routes immediately to the dispatcher or a route supervisor before going on to the next stop. They must also use route application software to complete each stop. All problems must be noted on the application in the daily route log.
  • Route drivers must check service truck before each route to make sure that the truck is serviced properly and that it has all of the necessary equipment to complete the route. In addition, before leaving the company lot, the driver must check the truck in accordance with D.O.T. and company safety regulations.
  • The route driver is responsible to fuel the truck and prepare the truck at the end of the route so that it is ready for the next day’s work.
  • Route driver must fill out a daily truck inspection report each day.
  • Route drivers must always be aware of what is going on in their service area. Watch for new job sites and push for twice a week servicing and/or additional units on big jobs or heavily used equipment. See supervisor for lead slips and incentive information.
  • Drivers are responsible to wear the uniforms or clothing the company provides and to maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
  • Responsible for any additional duties as assigned by management.
