About The Position
Provide preventive, educational and therapeutic dental hygiene services to all dental patients of Grace Health, under the general supervision of a dentist and consistent with Michigan’s Dental Practice Act. This role involves seating and dismissing patients, assisting with equipment maintenance and sterilization, inventory and ordering of supplies, assisting the dentist as needed, and maintaining accurate dental records. The position also includes participation in OSHA compliance and monitoring and practicing universal precautions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Graduation from an accredited school of dental hygiene
- One year of experience, preferably in a dental office setting
- Licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist
- Current BCLS certification
Responsibilities
- Provides preventive, educational and therapeutic dental hygiene services to all dental patients of Grace Health, under the general supervision of a dentist and consistent with Michigan’s Dental Practice Act.
- Seats and dismisses patients.
- Assists with maintenance, cleaning, set-up and sterilization of equipment and supplies when possible.
- Assists with inventory and ordering of supplies.
- Assists dentist as needed.
- Maintains current and accurate dental records for each patient.
- Participates in OSHA compliance and monitoring
- Practices universal precautions.

- $5,000 Sign-on bonus ($2,500 after successful completion of your probationary period and $2,500 after 6 months).
