About The Position

WE ARE HIRING PART-TIME FOR OUR CRUISE PORT LOCATION. THIS IS A STANDING POSITION WHICH REQUIRES DIRECT INTERACTION WITH THE GENERAL PUBLIC. LOCATION: Port of New Orleans PAY: $17.00 / hour / pays weekly SHIFT: AM Shift, 6am-2pm / part-time 16-24hrs SCHEDULE: Mandatory to work Mondays and Thursdays. As a Retail Security Officer, you will serve, safeguard and more for our clients and their guests in a retail setting.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE VALID TWIC CARD FOR CONSIDERATION
• ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 20LBS OR MORE
• MUST BE COMFORTABLE USING A COMPUTER OR TABLET
• ABLE TO STAND/WALK FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME
• WORK IN ELEMENTS FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
