About The Position

All Modal Transportation is looking to hire Port Intermodal Truck Drivers with CDL Class A & Valid TWIC Card. This is a full-time position, working up to 6 days a week (60-70 hours per week), with the opportunity to be home daily and enjoy year-round work. The role involves operating a truck tractor to transport containers to and from the port of Los Angeles and Long Beach, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, tractor fueling, communicating with dispatch, completing daily paperwork, and potentially weighing containers.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Clean MVR - if you have an accident on the record, please be ready to provide an accident report
• Valid TWIC card
• Min 3 years of verifiable experience as a CDL Class A driver
• Min 1 year experience working with the port hauling containers
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug test
• Be available to work up to 14 hours daily for a Full-Time position
• Hands-free device for cell communication is required

Responsibilities

• Operating a truck tractor to transport containers to and from the port of Los Angeles and Long Beach
• Pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
• Tractor fueling
• Communicate with Dispatch throughout the work day
• Completion and submission of daily paperwork and required pictures
• Container weighing, empty or/and heavy, if needed
