About The Position

Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Clinic Coordinator to join our team! This position provides support for the entire Preventative Health /Occupational Health Program and requires a passionate commitment of core values and behaviors. Requirements

  • Must be a high school graduate or an accredited secondary educational system.
  • Must have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel, & Outlook).
  • Must have a current drivers license.
  • Customer Service, Marketing, Sales, Client Billing/AR, Supervising.
  • Must have the sensitivity, maturity, and ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Requires assessment and planning, calculation, analyzing, sorting, comparing, ability to prioritize, listening, decision making and reading comprehension.

Nice To Haves

  • Some clinical exposure preferred but not necessary
  • Must be familiar with computerized information systems, lab supplies, processes and centrifuge and office equipment such as fax, copier, and scanning devices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and Supervise Wellness Clinics- including staff coordination, supply ordering, lab ordering & Communications, Participant registration, result letters, Insurance verifications, Critical value calls and communication with supervising provider.
  • Employee Management, hiring, training, yearly competency, staff meetings, staff scheduling and problem resolution.
  • Sales, program presentations, client relations including problem resolution, client retention, Program growth, client posters, pre-booking and company reports.
  • Innovative ideas and discussions with management on program growth
  • General secretarial duties to include filing, mailing documents, making claimant folders, copying/scanning/uploading documents.
  • Responsible for all billing and reconciliation. Responsible to ensure this is accurate and timely.
  • Must attend all meetings.
  • Adheres to the Hospital policies and demonstrates safe practices.
  • Demonstrates competence in the Environment of Care to provide functional and safe surroundings for patients and staff (i.e. safety, security, infection control, etc.).
  • Able to locate applicable hospital and department specific manuals.
  • Acts like an owner; pulls own weight; works to achieve individual, departments, and hospital goals; fully accountable; owns problem until solved; appropriately holds others accountable.
  • Must be open, honest, and appropriate in all communication; manages conflict appropriately-takes issues to appropriate personnel and does not discuss along the way.
