About The Position

The Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak is looking for Seasonal Pool Servers to join our amazing Team out at our River Ranch Pool! This role involves the service of food and beverage, including order taking and delivery, in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Must have the ability to communicate in English.
  • Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
  • Can communicate well with guests.
  • Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
  • Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
  • Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.

  • Safety & Security: The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Crescent Hotels & Resorts. Every Crescent associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
  • Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner as soon as they are seated at tables or on lounges, and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest services.
  • When complete, pick up order from Slim Pickens, confirm its accuracy.
  • Check food before serving it to guest to ascertain that appearance, temperature and portions are correct.
  • Answer any guest questions about the menu.
  • Record the details of the order from the guests, repeating the order to the guest to check for accuracy.
  • Input order into machine and place in service bar and cook area.
  • Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to service manual.
  • Clear away dishes/baskets as soon as guest is finished.
  • Pick up empty cups.
  • Present the check to guest promptly.
  • Check station before, during, and after shift for proper set up and cleanliness.
  • Do all necessary set-up sidework as assigned.
  • Wipe down tables and chairs each day.
  • Assist Pool Attendants by straightening lounge chairs and picking up cups and towels.
