About The Position

Provide exceptional food and beverage service to guests in the pool and cabana areas. Deliver a high level of personalized, attentive service while ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable guest experience in an outdoor setting.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to provide high-touch guest service in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous food and beverage, poolside, or hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, personalized service to cabana guests or guests at the pool, ensuring a premium experience.
  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner at the pool, lounge chairs, and cabanas.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly while maintaining quality standards.
  • Present menus, share daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
  • Prepare and serve beverages and ensure that the cabanas, cart and coolers are adequately stocked.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and pool area.
  • Keep all condiment containers clean and filled.
  • Receive and visually inspect guest check for any inaccuracies, then close the check to the proper method of payment.
  • Assist in food preparation as required.
  • Perform general cleaning task using standard hotel cleaning products, as assigned to adhere to health standards.
  • Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
  • Perform all side work to include replenishing condiments and restocking kitchen shelves with supplies.
  • Perform other duties as required.
