About The Position

Poolwerx is seeking a part-time Pool Retail Associate for afternoon and weekend shifts. This is a long-term, entry-level position with no prior experience required, as full training will be provided. The role involves creating a positive customer experience, learning about water testing and chemical recommendations, and gaining hands-on experience with pool cleaner repairs. Poolwerx is a large, growing pool service company that invests in its employees through training, career development, and advancement opportunities.

Requirements

No pool industry experience required—we'll train you!
Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for helping customers.
Strong communication and active listening skills.
Comfortable learning technical information about pool and spa care.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays and occasional holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail, customer service, cashier, or sales experience preferred.
Experience with Facebook or other social media platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers and deliver an outstanding retail experience during every visit.
Perform professional computerized water testing and explain results.
Recommend pool chemicals, water treatment products, and maintenance solutions based on water test results.
Educate customers on proper pool and spa care, equipment maintenance, and seasonal pool maintenance.
Assist customers with selecting pool supplies, accessories, replacement parts, and equipment.
Stock, organize, and merchandise retail inventory.
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail showroom.
Help implement in-store promotions, merchandising displays, and seasonal campaigns.
Build lasting customer relationships through exceptional service and product knowledge.
