Requirements

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact respectfully with residents and guests.
• Comfortable working independently while exercising sound judgment.
• Ability to consistently enforce community rules in a fair, courteous, and professional manner.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout scheduled shifts.
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift equipment or supplies as needed.
• Ability to use basic maintenance equipment, pool testing supplies, hand tools, and cleaning equipment.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the pool season.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the pool area according to the property's operating schedule.
• Verify resident and guest access to ensure only authorized individuals use the facility.
• Monitor pool activities and enforce all community pool rules in a professional and consistent manner.
• Perform routine pool chemical testing and notify maintenance staff of any concerns.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pool deck, furniture, and surrounding amenity areas.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including sweeping, emptying trash, and organizing pool furniture.
• Observe the property for potential safety concerns and immediately report maintenance or liability issues.
• Utilize standard maintenance tools and pool equipment as needed.
• Assist with special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by property management.
