About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Pool Model Food Runner is to maintain the pool, including the dining area, storerooms, food pick up area, and beverage station according to established cleanliness and stock standards. This role involves ensuring timely food delivery, collaborating with servers for optimal guest service, and assisting kitchen staff as needed. The position also requires prepping sauces and condiments, polishing flatware, setting tables, and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area and its surroundings. The Pool Model Food Runner will perform other job-related duties as requested.

Requirements

Must be 21 years or older
Must obtain a TAM/Alcohol Awareness card.
Must obtain a SNHD Health Card.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must obtain a Nevada Gaming License.
One (1) year of experience in a restaurant as a Bus or Food Runner.
Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations.
Knowledge of hotel services, features, local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
Work varied shifts, to include evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Ensure food delivery in a timely manner.
Work with servers to ensure proper guest service.
Assist the chefs/cooks with anything that is needed in the kitchen.
Prep sauces and condiments.
Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, accessories and fold napkins.
Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles.
Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris.
Perform other job-related duties as requested.
