About The Position

The Patrick Henry Family YMCA is seeking a Pool Manager to ensure the safety of our members at our pools. This part-time position starts at $15.00 per hour. We are looking for candidates that have availability Monday-Friday mornings.

Requirements

• Must have at least one year of lifeguarding experience and meet all YMCA of Greater Richmond Lifeguard Standards.
• Must hold current YMCA, American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification; to include CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, First Aid, and Oxygen Administration (O2) if YMCA certified.
• If not YMCA certified, the employee must obtain O2 within 30 days of the hiring date.
• Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
• The candidate will be required to work some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, coordinating, developing, administering, and evaluation of aquatic activities as they relate to aquatic centers to include, but not limited to, any pre-season opening responsibilities and any post-season closing responsibilities.
